How do I get to Howick?

By Air:-

1. Fly directly from Johannesburg’s OR Tambo Airport to Oribi in Pietermaritzburg with either SA Airlink or SA Express Airlines.  The flying time is 55 minutes.  There are numerous car hire companies at Oribi airport as well as shuttle services to Howick. The driving time from Oribi Airport to Howick is approximately 35 minutes.

2. Fly directly from Johannesburg’s OR Tambo Airport to King Shaka International in Durban with either South African Airways, Comair, Kulula or Mango Airlines.  The flying time is also 55 minutes.  The driving time from Durban to Howick is approximately 90 minutes.  There are numerous car hire companies at King Shaka airport as well as shuttle services to Howick.

By Road:-

The N3 highway runs directly through Howick.  The driving time from Johannesburg to Howick is approximately 5 Hours.  The driving time from Durban to Howick is approximately 90 minutes.

Directions to the Midlands Specialist Centre

Take the N3 Howick North/Tweedie off-ramp (from PMB - turn right at the off-ramp and from Mooi River turn left at the off-ramp), drive straight on the main road, pass 2 sets of traffic lights (first traffic light after Greendale Spar and second traffic light at Mediclinic), drive straight on same road, turn left into Gush Avenue and immediately turn left on road parallel to the Main Road, continue until you  see the 5th building and turn right into car park.
